Branding & Design
An identity people recognize and trust.
We build brands from strategy through identity, design system, and the creative that carries them into the world. Clear enough for a public agency, sharp enough for a launch.
What it is
What branding and design covers
Branding and design is the strategy, identity, and visual system that make an organization recognizable and credible. That includes positioning and messaging, logo and identity design, typography and color systems, brand guidelines, and the templates and creative your team uses every day.
We design for how the brand will actually be used: on a website that must meet accessibility contrast standards, on a notice mailed to every household in a service area, on a pitch deck, on a storefront. A brand that only works on a mood board is not finished.
Public programs and startups share a need here. Both have to earn trust quickly with people who have never heard of them. Strategy first, then design, then a system that keeps every touchpoint consistent.

Frequently asked about Branding & Design
Do you handle naming and brand strategy, or only visual design?
Both. Most engagements start with strategy: audience, positioning, and messaging. Visual identity follows from that. We also take on naming and rebrand projects where the strategy is already settled.
How long does a branding project take?
A focused identity for a small business or program typically takes weeks. A full rebrand for an enterprise or agency with many touchpoints and stakeholders takes longer, mainly because of reviews. We set the schedule around your decision-making process.
Will we own the files and the rights?
Yes. You receive all source files and full rights to the final work. Fonts and stock imagery are licensed in your name.
Can you work within an existing brand?
Yes. Much of our work extends brands that already exist: new program identities under a city or utility master brand, campaign creative, or a design system for a product. We respect the existing guidelines and strengthen them where they are thin.
Do you design for accessibility?
Always. Color contrast, type sizes, and layout patterns are checked against WCAG 2.1 AA, which matters for any organization subject to ADA requirements and improves readability for everyone.
