Energy & Utilities
Customer trust for the energy transition.
We help community choice aggregators, municipal and investor-owned utilities, and clean energy programs explain complex choices clearly, enroll customers, and meet public accessibility standards. Clean Power Alliance is a client, and New Block is a CPUC-certified minority business enterprise.

Municipal and public utilities
City-owned electric, water, and gas utilities and irrigation districts.
Investor-owned utilities and partners

Clean energy programs
Rebate, electrification, EV, solar, storage, and demand response programs that live on enrollment.
What you're up against
The problems we get hired to solve.
-
Explaining choices people did not ask for
Rate plans, opt-outs, time-of-use, and program tiers are confusing. Customers who do not understand default to distrust.
-
Enrollment at scale
Programs succeed on participation. That takes campaigns targeted to the right households, in the right languages, with a measurable cost per enrollment.
-
Public accountability
CCAs and public utilities answer to boards and the public. Websites, notices, and portals must be accessible, accurate, and defensible.
-
Supplier diversity reporting
Investor-owned utilities and many public agencies track spend with certified diverse suppliers. Working with a CPUC-certified MBE counts.
- Paid Media & Advertising Rate education, rebate and program enrollment, and opt-in campaigns with cost per enrollment reporting.
- Web & Application Development Customer program sites, enrollment flows, and rate tools built to WCAG 2.1 AA.

Most CCAs are public entities under Title II. Depending on structure and population served, the deadline is April 26, 2027 or April 26, 2028. Each agency should confirm with counsel. We audit and remediate websites, portals, and documents to WCAG 2.1 AA either way.
